ATX Writer, Creative, and Visionary
I'm Alexander Le and I'm a Creative Technologist.
What began as simple childhood hobbies has now turned into a full pursuit of an absurd amount of skill sets.
Starting with an interest in game development and a passion for creativity, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Arts & Entertainment Technologies in the School of Design and Creative Technologies at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin.

EXPERIENCES
In December 2023, I worked on the set of Diplo's performance at the University of Texas at Austin as an A/V technician and PA. Alongside Diplo headlining were the Peach Tree Rascals. I was given this opportunity as an employee of the WCP at UT, and my on-set errands were to provide technical supplies and assist the production crew.
I work for the Department of Arts & Entertainment Technologies at the University of Texas at Austin as a UA (Undergraduate Assistant). I am tasked with organizing and monitoring student attendance, providing help and feedback to students, assisting professors with on-demand tasks, writing and compiling class notes, and providing tech assistance to the faculty.
In the Fall 2024 semester, I was a guest lecturer for a course in the Arts & Entertainment Technologies program. I spoke on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), future speculation of the technologies, and consideration of the ethics along with introspective on the political attributes surrounding the potential hazards it can pose.
Before becoming a guest lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin, I became accredited in the topic by obtaining certifications from IBM and Google in topics surrounding Generative Artificial Intelligence. I currently have certifications in Generative AI: Introduction and Applications and Google AI Essentials.
I work at the William C. Powers Student Activity Center at the University of Texas at Austin as a media technician. As part of the WCP Audio-Visual department, I work closely with event sponsors in coordinating their audio/visual needs for their events, and setting up, operating, and troubleshooting multimedia equipment.
In the Fall semester of 2024, I performed live on stage at the Audio Pixel Collider event at the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Arts & Entertainment Technologies department and the Realtime Video Programming course. Alongside DJs performing live, I used Derivative's TouchDesigner and Resolume Arena to mix and play visuals in real-time along to the live music.
In the Spring 2024 semester, I collaborated with choreographers from the School of Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin to produce and compose a musical piece for a live dance performance in Evolution, a collaborative design laboratory facilitating interdisciplinary experimentation in dance performance. Choreographers from the Department of Theatre and Dance joined with concert and event lighting designers and composers from the School of Design and Creative Technologies to create short dance works for the concert stage. This public showcase was presented in the B. Iden Payne Theatre.
